The Swiss association of an alternative accommodation has now joined the European Holiday Home Association. The association aims to give a voice to accommodation representatives other than hotels in Switzerland.
The following 5 are the founding members of the Parahotellerie Schweiz: Reisekasse Reka, Interhome, TCS Camping, Schweizer Jugendherbergen and B&B.
The representative of the Parahotellerie Schweiz, Mr Fredi Gmür (CEO of Schweizer Jugendherbergen), said: “We are happy to join the European Holiday Home Association and work together in order to ensure that consumers have a widest possible choice of places to stay”.
Mr Carlos Villaro Lassen, Secretary General of the EHHA, said: “We are delighted that Parahotellerie Schweiz has joined the EHHA. We are convinced that Parahotellerie Schweiz will strengthen our efforts in promoting other accommodation channels for consumers which are supported by fair regulation that is easy to comply with.”
EHHA was founded in 2013 by some of the biggest holiday rental industry players in Europe. Its membership consists of managers’ associations, trade associations, and national and international companies operating in the European Union.
