The first short term rental association in Italy, the Property Managers Italia joined the European Holiday Home Association this month. The association aims to give a voice to the growing short-term rental industry in Italy, providing property managers with a platform to exchange best practices and supporting them in adaptation to a rapidly changing environment.
The following 10 are the funding members of the Property Managers Italia: Rentopolis, DoYouBnb, Italianway, Halldis Italia, Windows on Italy, MyPlace, Locobel, Apartments Florence, Doorwaystoitaly and Italy with Style. In addition to this, Property Managers Italia also aims to attract more property managers in a near future all around Italy.
The President of the Property Managers Italia, Mr Stefano Bettanin (CEO of Rentopolis), said: “We are glad to become a part of the European Holiday Home Association and I confirm our commitment to the EHHA to work together in ensuring that consumers will have a widest possible choices of places to stay, removing unnecessary barriers and promoting an environment that benefits both businesses and consumers.”
Mr Carlos Villaro Lassen, Secretary General of the EHHA, said: ““We are delighted that Property Managers Italia has joined the EHHA. To strengthen complement our efforts at regional and national levels we need to address the challenges of the industry at a European level by gathering national associations and companies together to share experience and expertise. We are very happy to work with Property Managers Italia and engage in conversations with European stakeholders and legislators in order to support regulation that is fair, enforceable and easy to comply with.”
EHHA was founded in 2013 by some of the biggest holiday rental industry players in Europe. Its membership consists of managers’ associations, trade associations, and national and international companies operating in the European Union.
