Our Story
The European Holiday Home Association was founded to unite and empower Europe’s short-term rental community in the face of growing regulatory challenges. As the industry expanded, so did the need for a coherent, evidence-based voice to represent STR providers across Europe’s diverse policy landscape. EHHA emerged as that voice — a bridge between the EU policymakers and the industry.
Today, EHHA stands at the forefront of policy dialogue, working to ensure that legislation at all levels aligns with EU principles and promotes a vibrant, responsible, and resilient STR industry. Our vision is a Europe where short-term rentals are recognized as an integral part of the tourism ecosystem, delivering exceptional experiences for guests while benefiting local communities and economies.
