Roomonitor has joined European Holiday Home Association as an affiliate member.
Barcelona based company provides solutions for noise control in short-term rental properties in 12 countries and 27 cities in Europe. It was founded in 2015 by brothers Ignacio and Eduardo Suarez who designed a tool to control a noise in short-term rental properties and make sure that neighbors sleep well.
Noise Alarm – Roomonitor tool – is the 24/7 real-time noise monitoring device which is 100% privacy safe. A device allows to be aware of the noise levels in short term rentals, from everywhere at any time, thus avoiding any problems with neighbors or other tenants.
In 2018 Roomonitor launched another support to Noise Alarm tool – Alarm Assistant. Alarm Assistant is the service where Roomonitor supervises noise alarms in properties on behalf of a property manager. In case of noise as alarmed by the Noise Alarm, the company’s night agent will notify short-term rental guests about noise in the property to avoid inconveniences with neighbors and other tourists.
After consolidating the Spanish market, the company quickly expands in Europe and has plans to go to USA in 2020.
Carlos Villaro Lassen, Secretary General of the EHHA, said: “We are excited that Roomonitor joined EHHA. Noise control mechanism is a long waited solution and we are eager to present it to all short-term rental businesses.”
EHHA was founded in 2013 by some of the biggest holiday rental industry players in Europe. Its membership consists of managers’ associations, trade associations and national and international companies operating in Europe.
